After four intense days dedicated to tasting the 671 competing samples, here are the first verdicts of EVO International.
Following the tasting operations were concluded, the finalists of the competition were revealed, thanks to the extreme professionalism and competence of the 25 international judges, who expressed their judgement objectively, and after the final tasting sessions, necessary to decree the nominations of the ninth edition of the contest, here is revealed which are, among the 671 oils in competition, the finalists competing to win one of the coveted trophies of EVO IOOC Italy 2024.(video: https://evo-iooc.it/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/evo-iocc-2024-nominations.mp4)
After the publication of the EVO IOOC Italy 2024 Nominations, we will have to wait for the Awards Ceremony, scheduled to take place in Palmi on Saturday 15 June at 19:00, to know in detail the absolute prizes, i.e. the ‘Best’ in each category: Best International Award, Best International Organic, Best International PDO/PGI, Best International Monovarietal, Best International Coupage, as well as the Best of Country and the three Special Awards.
To find out all the award winners (Gold and Silver Medals), we will have to wait until Saturday 25 May, again on our website (https://evo-iooc.it/), where the medals of the EVO International contest will be revealed.
The final act of the contest will coincide with the celebration in Palmi on 15 June, during which certificates will be handed over to all the winning companies (Best, Special, Gold and Silver Medals).
