After 5 years EVOO from Spain is the Best International Award North Hemisphere of 2020 EVO IOOC.

The four years of undisputed domination of Italy, interrupted by a great Spanish extra virgin olive oil. 

It is the Almazaras de la Subbética, with PARQUEOLIVA Serie Oro - DOP Priego de Cordoba EVOO, the Best International Award North Hemisphere of EVO IOOC Italy 2020, an award obtained by the company that had the highest score by the jury of the competition. It replaces the winning Azienda Agricola Luigi Depalo in 2019 and confirms a sequence of victories lasting 5 years.
In fact, Almazaras de la Subbética, obtained a long series of victories at EVO IOOC Italy, starting from the first Best in Class DOP/IGP North Hemisphere in 2016 with the PARQUEOLIVA Serie Oro EVOO, which was followed with absolute regularity by the victories of 2017 (Best in Class Monovarietal North Hemisphere) with RINCON DE LA SUBBETICA EVOO, in 2018 (Best in Class DOP/IGP North Hemisphere) again with RINCON DE LA SUBBETICA EVOO and again Best in Class DOP/IGP North Hemisphere in 2019 with the famous RINCON DE LA SUBBETICA DOP Priego de Cordoba EVOO.
Who is behind the Almazaras de la Subbética?
It is an agricultural cooperative, created in July 2007, but born from the merger of two prestigious Spanish cooperatives with over 60 years of experience in the olive oil industry.
The cooperative is located in the Sierre Subbéticas Natural Park, a protected cultivation area declared of environmental interest. The headquarters is in Carcabuey (Córdoba), located in the center of the Cordoba-Jaen-Malaga-Granada quadrilateral, the heart of Spanish olive growing.
At Almazaras de la Subbética, they have been betting from the beginning on the quality of their products, in full respect of each individual producer, customer satisfaction, care for the environment, and active collaboration with the most disadvantaged sectors of society. Worthy of mention is the initiative "Botellas con Alma", with which the cooperative donates to the Asociaciones Sonrisas Sin Cáncer and UnoEntreCienMil, 2 euros for each bottle sold.
A long trail of success that makes - in fact - the Almazaras de la Subbética the most awarded company in the EVO IOOC Italy contest, and among the most awarded in the world.
